Wilde (1997) The first film Orlando had a small part in was a film called 'wilde' in 1997. He had a very small part in this film, playing a 'rent boy'. In a short scene, the rent boy and a few of his friends stand on a busy street, laughing at passing people. The rent boy sees Oscar Wilde walk out of a building in the distance, and calls out to Oscar- "Are you looking for someone?" When Oscar turns and leaves, the rent boy smirks and blows a puff of smoke from his cigarette, and turns back to his friends. Black Hawk Down(2001)
Orlando plays ranger Pvt. first class Todd Blackburn. He is in the film quite early on, supplying personal information to military personnel. He's the youngest of the soldiers and eager to fight for his country. Blackburn is placed in the Siege of Mogadishu. Unfortunately, he is the first man down. He falls from a helicopter and is seriously injured, a broken back. The ranger code of conduct is not to leave a man behind, fallen or down. so his fellow mates do all they can to help him.
